I just logged my 15th-consecutive day of counting calories. I have to say, I never though that this would work. And yet–it clearly is.
I’m down 4.4kg already. It’s made me much more aware of what I am eating and I have definitely stopped eating out.
While counting calories is contributing to my success it isn’t all I’ve been doing.
Fifteen days of counting calories and switching a slim shake or a protein shake with my lunch. This helps me not get bored of the flavor, texture, and also gives my body good nutrients from each. I’m also using oat milk and almond milk in place of cow juice.
Six days of taking a metabolism boost supplement vitamin. Mine is made by Fujifilm–yes, Fujifilm. It’s specifically targeted at people with a high BMI. Have I seen any effects–not particularly, maybe it’s just a placebo but it isn’t hurting!
Three days of Figure 8 Latin dance classes. These are 10 to 15 minute dance videos with instructions. I’m finding the pacing a bit challenging but I like the high energy and I have to admit, it’s much more fun than traditional workouts. I’ve really noticed a muscle burn with this one and it leaves me feeling energetic mentally. It’s very engaging!
So there you have it. Calorie counting, slim/protein shake, natural supplement, and dance~ I still have a ways to go before I reach that magic BMI that will let me begin IVF but 4.4kg is nothing to cough at! I’m really proud of myself.
I cannot thank my supportive friends enough, especially my husband who has adapted his diet to match mine and even dances with me during my Figure 8 workout. Let’s make a happier, healthier life!
